Farm Rio x Liberty AW23 Press Launch 

The brief :

Full Production including Catering, Event Design, Styling & Flowers for the launch of Farm Rio’s AW23 collection at Liberty London.

Table Styling :

A celebration of Farm Rio and Liberty’s heritage in craft and shared love of textiles. Known for their bold summery prints and tropical aesthetic, it was important to create a cosy atmosphere for this AW23 launch that still felt in keeping with the brand’s signature tropical style. The room was decorated with sumptuous rust velvet armchairs, jungle-like plants and the brand’s artisanal rugs, each hand tufted in Brazil.

A bespoke 7.5m embroidered tablecloth with a cream wool base was used to create a cosy, autumnal feel, with 3D ribboned florals to give the illusion of flowers growing on the table.  Plates were hand painted using motifs from the collection, including a personalised set to gift to press.  Delicate glassware with bold stripes and tropical details were used as a contrast to provide an elevated, playful element.  Warm tactile textures in the form of artisanal ceramics, woven baskets, wooden boards and gold cutlery were used for serving the seasonal menu created by chef Posie Hall.  

Various bespoke food elements were sourced, including a cake intricately piped with icing to recreate the collection’s hero print, a hand-piped jumper-shaped cookie that was gifted to guests and traditional Brazilian breakfast accompaniments including pao de queijo and brigadeiros.
